CHICAGO, IL -- Towerstream Corporation of Rhode Island has announced the launch of its wireless service to businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area. The company states that the service offers T1 speed capability in a redundant wireless infrastructure by providing customers with two separate T1 connections, each one pointing at a different base stations. Pricing is approximately $600 per month. The company has other similar wireless networks in the New York and Boston areas and intends to roll out the service in other major cities in the coming months.
